## G2 Esports and Wizards of the Coast Partner for Rotating Jersey Sponsorship G2 Esports has announced a long-term partnership with Wizards of the Coast, a leading publisher of tabletop and digital games. The partnership features a unique rotating design on G2's Counter-Strike 2 jersey, showcasing different games from Wizards of the Coast's portfolio. ## Rotating Design on G2's Counter-Strike Jersey The first game to be featured on the jersey is *Exodus*, an upcoming sci-fi RPG from Archetype Entertainment. The jersey debuted at the Esports World Cup on August 12, during G2's opening match against M80. G2 won the best-of-one 13-11 on Mirage, giving the design immediate broadcast exposure at a Counter-Strike tournament with 32 teams and a $2 million prize pool. The rotating format sets this partnership apart from a conventional esports jersey sponsorship. Wizards of the Coast can use the same space to promote different releases during the life of the deal, effectively turning G2's Counter-Strike kit into a recurring advertising slot for its games. Neither company has revealed how often the design will change or which Wizards property will follow *Exodus*. ## Wizards of the Coast's Portfolio Wizards of the Coast owns a diverse portfolio of games, including Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons. Its videogame studios include Archetype Entertainment, Invoke Studios, and Skeleton Key. While the announcement doesn't confirm that Magic or Dungeons & Dragons will appear on a future jersey, the rotation is confirmed to draw from the wider Wizards portfolio. ## G2's Partner Roster G2 has been successful with its collaborations, including partnerships with Red Bull, McDonald's, Ralph Lauren, Logitech, Herman Miller, and several betting and gaming companies. Recent entertainment collaborations have covered One Piece and Solo Leveling, with the One Piece deal even resulting in a full streetwear collection in June. ## Hasbro's Investment in Digital Games The partnership between G2 and Wizards of the Coast begins with *Exodus*, a new single-player action RPG launching in early 2027 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. *Exodus* is one of the more important projects in Hasbro's current videogame plans, with the company planning to reduce digital spending by at least 25 percent by 2028. Hasbro also recorded a $56 million impairment in July after cancelling several projects planned for 2028 and beyond, highlighting the significance of this partnership for the company's digital game investment plans.
