Modern Warfare 4 Early Access Beta Preload Date and Time Confirmed

The Modern Warfare 4 Early Access Beta preload is set to begin on August 20 across all supported platforms. Players who pre-ordered the game or have an Early Access code can download the beta ahead of its launch.

The Modern Warfare 4 Early Access Beta itself begins on August 21 at 11am PT and runs until August 25 at 10am PT. It kicks off a couple of hours after the Call of Duty NEXT 2026 showcase.

Players who are eligible for the Modern Warfare 4 Early Access can begin downloading the beta when the preload period starts on August 20. The process depends on the platform, but these are the general steps:

- Make sure you have pre-ordered Modern Warfare 4 or have a valid Early Access code. - If you received a code, redeem it through callofduty.com/betaredeem. - Select the platform you want to use when prompted. - Open the Modern Warfare 4 listing on your chosen platform. - Start the beta download when preloading becomes available. - Install the beta so you can start playing as soon as Early Access begins.

If you have multiple console accounts linked to your Activision account, the Early Access code will only be provided for the console you selected when registering the code.

The Modern Warfare 4 Early Access Beta includes a Campaign mission as well as Multiplayer maps and modes.
