Titles: VALORANT's seasonal model features yearly Seasons with six Acts, each lasting two months

VALORANT's seasonal model has undergone a significant change, transitioning from a six-month "Episode" format to a year-long Season with six two-month Acts. This new format aims to provide a seamless yearly transition, keeping the meta fresh and exciting for players.

## VALORANT Seasonal Format

The new Seasonal format features a year-long Season, comprising six Acts, each lasting two months. This change allows players to enjoy a consistent flow of updates without the major "Episode" switch every six months. The previous format had "Episodes" running for six months, with three two-month Acts.

## New Content and Updates

New Acts typically introduce significant changes, including new agents, maps, or adjustments to existing features. The biggest changes of a Season, however, drop every three Acts, providing players with enough time to enjoy the additions without being overwhelmed by too much new content at once.

| Season | Start Date | End Date | | --- | --- | --- | | V26 | Not specified | Not specified | | V25 | Not specified | Not specified | | V24 | Not specified | Not specified | | V23 | Not specified | Not specified | | V22 | Not specified | Not specified | | V21 | Not specified | Not specified |

## Upcoming VALORANT Act

VALORANT Season V26 Act Six is scheduled to kick off on October 13. However, for APAC and EMEA regions, Act Six will go live in the early hours of October 14. The dates may shift if Riot encounters an unexpected hiccup, but the chances of that happening are low.

## Maintenance and Update Schedule

On the day the new Act's scheduled to commence, the game servers will be taken down for maintenance, which may run for a couple of hours. After maintenance is over, players should see a pending update in the Riot Client app once it ends. Downloading the update and launching VALORANT will allow players to start experiencing the new Act. Players can also turn on automatic updates from the Riot Client settings if they don't want to keep track of these patches manually.

| Region | Maintenance Time | | --- | --- | | North America, LATAM, Brazil | October 13, 8am - 1pm CT | | Korea, Asia-Pacific | October 14, 6am - 8am KST | | EMEA | October 14, 2am - 5am UTC |
