Team Apex Gaming won the TEZ FFMIC 2026 Fall championship by securing a Booyah in Match 9 after activating Champion Rush in Match 8, claiming their second
Team Apex Gaming secured the TEZ Free Fire MAX India Cup (FFMIC) 2026 Fall championship. They won the decisive 4v4 battle in Match 9 to achieve a Booyah after activating Champion Rush in Match 8. The victory makes it back-to-back FFMIC titles for the Apex roster. The championship was decided at the Noida Indoor Stadium on September 27.
How the Champion Rush format decided the winner
Under the Champion Rush rules, a team needed to cross 110 points in the overall standings and then win a subsequent match with a Booyah. All teams with at least 110 points in the FFMIC 2026 Fall Grand Finals points table were eligible to be crowned champions this way. Apex Gaming crossed the 110-point threshold and activated Champion Rush in Match 8. They then secured the Booyah and won the title in Match 9.
Resurrection leads points table but falls short of title
Despite finishing first in the overall points table, Resurrection could not convert their lead into the championship. They were the first team to activate Champion Rush in Match 6. Resurrection finished with 151 points, just ahead of Apex Gaming's 149. Only five points separated the top three teams in the final standings. TSG Pros finished third with 146 points. Clutza Esports placed fourth with 134.

Top three teams qualify for global finals
The top three teams from the FFMIC 2026 Fall standings earned qualification for the FFWS 2026 Global Finals in Bangkok. Team Apex Gaming, Team Resurrection, and TSG Pros will represent India at the international event. TSG Pros, Clutza Esports, and iQOO OGxTE had also activated Champion Rush back in Match 7. In the final match, S8UL Esports eliminated TSG Pros.
Apex Gaming’s historic 2026 double crown
This victory marks Apex Gaming’s second FFMIC title in 2026. They previously won the Spring edition under the Team HIND banner. The roster also represented India at the Free Fire World Cup 2026 earlier in the year. Their achievement spans winning FFMIC Spring as Team HIND, international representation, and defending the title as Team Apex Gaming. The team successfully defended their title from the Spring. Team Apex Gaming said: "Apex Gaming’s road to the trophy was far from easy."
Apex Gaming will represent India at the FFWS 2026 Global Finals in Bangkok alongside Resurrection and TSG Pros.
