Animal Hospital on Roblox has expanded its facility with a significant update released on September 5. The patch, literally making the hospital bigger, introduces a long-anticipated second floor, new gameplay mechanics, a hidden creepy character, new achievements, and skins.

Before starting a run, make sure that you know these things to help you survive more shifts.
The Second Floor
The main attraction of this update is the second floor. Although it only contains two new rooms, the content you can discover inside more than makes up for it. We now have the lab room, where you can create serums from patient samples, along with a vacant office and another vending machine. This section of the facility also houses a secret place.
New Tool: DNA Sampler + Four New Items
A new tool called the DNA Sampler is central to the lab room's function. These items are used for feeding the dish containing patient samples. These are:
- Mushroom
- Strange Jelly
- Milk
- Ginger
Each of these items is represented by a specific letter. If you can feed the dish with a specific combination of the new items, you can create a serum that you can use on patients to apply certain effects, like changing their size.
Hidden Location and Character: Squiggles the Clown
Head to the second floor and go to the upper left corner of the lab room. Step on the vent below the instructions section, and its cap will fall off, revealing a secret room. Jump down to encounter a clown called Squiggles. This fellow is obviously infected with the anomaly virus and was once working at the hospital as an entertainer until he started attacking patients. Unlock the door next to Squiggles to access a shortcut to the first floor.
Right now, Squiggles is safely locked inside this small prison. However, with the developers constantly revealing more lore into the game, there's a chance he could escape in a future update and ruin everyone's shifts.
New Achievements
In case you have already completed all the achievements listed in Animal Hospital's journal, you have to check it again, as there are 6 new ones to complete. If you need more Animal Coins, now is the time to farm more of them.
New Skins + Other Bug Fixes
Like the previous updates in Animal Hospital, you can also purchase a variety of new skins for different classes. Also, developers remained active as ever in fixing any bugs in the game and updated the leaderboards to get rid of hackers playing the system.
