Delta Force Expands Circuit with RISE Series Season 2

Delta Force’s competitive scene is growing with RISE Series Season 2 and the Delta Force Invitational heading to DreamHack Stockholm. The second-anniversary celebration for the free-to-play tactical shooter begins on September 26. The game, which started on PC before expanding to mobile and Xbox Series X|S, is now building a structured year-long competitive programme.

Competitive Pathway

The RISE Series has established a structured competitive pathway across EMEA and the Americas. It launched as Delta Force’s international competitive circuit, connecting regional play to an international shows. The inaugural season ran for five weeks in July and August 2026, concluding with regional titles for Dark Entities in EMEA and Evil Geniuses in the Americas. This system and the upcoming Invitational form part of a broader annual programme.

Invitational Details

The Delta Force Invitational will bring 12 international teams together at DreamHack Stockholm later this year. This event is a landmark for the title, representing its first major offline event outside Asia. It will close out a year of competitive Delta Force, providing a LAN stage for the top teams from the ongoing RISE Series Season 2.

Season Context

RISE Series Season 2 is already underway, building on the foundation of its predecessor. Where Season 1 was about establishing the circuit, Season 2 is focused on growth and refinement. The season is part of a wider suite of updates accompanying the game's anniversary. These include the new Polaris Patrol mode, which features a play-as-a-boss experience, and several quality-of-life improvements designed to streamline the player experience.

Key anniversary updates are now live. The redesigned G.T.I. Field Manual tutorial offers a clearer start for new and returning players. The new One-Click Loadout system prepares recommended setups automatically. Shadow Guo, a developer, highlighted the benefit, saying, "The important part is the time you get back. You can spend less time comparing attachments between every run." He also noted, "Two years went faster than we expected." Other features include Cross-Region Operations Matches for improved matchmaking and a Combat Support Fund to help with in-game resource costs.

Tournament Structure

The competitive pathway for Season 2 leads directly to the Stockholm event. The top two teams from each region in RISE Series Season 2 will advance to the Delta Force Invitational. This creates a clear ladder from regional online competition to a premier international LAN finals. The Delta Force Invitational will take place at DreamHack Stockholm later this year.
