The female CS2 roster of FURIA, known as FURIA fe, has made a significant move by switching to VALORANT, marking a historic transition as the first full team to switch games while maintaining its existing structure.

FURIA fe will now compete in Riot Games' VCT Game Changers circuit, giving the players a new competitive path and greater opportunities for visibility.

The South American esports organization released a statement announcing the move, saying "We came, we saw, and we conquered in Counter-Strike. New scene, same strength. The FURIA CS Fe is FURIA VAL Inclusive! With the love for competition and an insatiable desire to win, the Panther will explore yet another scene, with the same claw as always!"

## FURIA VAL Inclusive Roster

| Name | | --- | | Karina “kaahSENSEI” Takahashi | | Izabella “izaa” Galle | | Gabriela “gabs” Freindorfer | | Bruna “bizinha” Marvila | | Lucia “lulitenz” Dubra |

FURIA fe's move to VALORANT is not surprising, given the decline of the women's CS2 circuit. The ESL Impact circuit, which the team was a part of, was placed on indefinite hold at the end of 2025 due to an unsustainable economic model. Several organizations subsequently parted ways with their women's CS2 rosters, leaving fewer opportunities for teams to compete at the highest level.

FURIA fe's switch to VALORANT is seen as an opportunity for the team to compete in a more sustainable competitive environment. The VCT Game Changers circuit, which is designed for women and marginalized genders in the VALORANT esports ecosystem, could provide a more stable and competitive environment for the team.

FURIA CS2 legend Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo reacted to the development, expressing disappointment at the state of the female pro CS2 scene while acknowledging the importance of the org's decision. He noted that FURIA's female players are moving to a "more vibrant scene" in VALORANT and that it's a great opportunity for them to compete against teams with years of experience in the VCT Game Changers scene.

The challenge now for FURIA fe is to quickly adapt to a new FPS and compete against teams with years of experience in the VCT Game Changers scene. However, with their existing structure and chemistry, the team is well-positioned to make a strong impact in the new competitive environment.

FURIA fe's move to VALORANT marks a significant milestone in the history of women's esports, and it will be interesting to see how the team fares in the new competitive environment.
