s1mple's BC.Game Deserves to be Taken Seriously
After months of setbacks and roster changes, BC.Game is finally looking like a complete and serious squad capable of claiming big scalps and challenging for major trophies

The move of Oleksandr 's1mple' Kostyliev to BC.Game generated a lot of intrigue in the Counter-Strike scene. At the time, it felt more like a publicity stunt than the foundation of a genuine contender. However, after months of experimentation and sweeping roster changes, BC.Game finally looks like a complete and serious squad.
The BC.Game roster finally looks complete
The team's initial roster was formed with the addition of the Portuguese trio of António 'aragornN' Barbosa, Adones 'krazy' Nobre, and Christopher 'MUTiRiS' Fernandes. However, the roster didn't look like a serious contender and was marred by poor results. Multiple roster changes followed, with the Portuguese trio eventually sidelined. The organization brought in four-time Major Championship winner Emil 'Magisk' Reif to lead the in-game calls, supported by the strategic depth of coach Wiktor 'TaZ' Wojtas.
The final piece of the puzzle was Ayush 'mzinho' Batbold, who reunited with Azbayar 'Senzu' Munkhbold after parting ways with The MongolZ. The current lineup consists of:
- Oleksandr 's1mple' Kostyliev
- Denis 'electroNic' Sharipov
- Azbayar 'Senzu' Munkhbold
- Ayush 'mzinho' Batbold
- Emil 'Magisk' Reif
- Wiktor 'TaZ' Wojtas
BC.Game's recent results inspire confidence
BC.Game has risen to the occasion and performed above expectations. Out of nine official matches played, the roster has won eight. They've also played 17 maps together across those nine matches and lost just three. On LAN, BC.Game didn't drop a single map en route to winning Elisa BreakOut Series #1, sweeping ENCE 2-0 in the Grand Final.
The squad's current record is impressive, with the three map losses suffered being close affairs. During the Round of 16 of the Last Chance Qualifier at the 2026 Esports World Cup, BC.Game suffered its first defeat against 100 Thieves. However, coach TaZ found a positive in the match, highlighting the team's resilience and ability to fight until the end.
s1mple's form on BC.Game
Even at his worst, s1mple can still contest most other AWPers. So far this year, s1mple has a solid 1.17 Rating, alongside an Average Damage per Round of 80.8. Over the past month, however, s1mple has improved to an impressive 1.27 Rating with an ADR of 80.1. His willingness to adapt and buy into new plans has inspired the rest of the squad, with Magisk explaining how s1mple's commitment to the plan has given confidence to the team.
BC.Game's next challenges: VRS climb & LAN XP
BC.Game needs to focus on two key areas now: climbing the Valve Regional Standings Global leaderboard and gaining experience as a roster on LAN in front of a crowd. Due to significant roster changes, BC.Game dropped from #44 to #200 in the VRS Global rankings. However, they are now back to #49 and ranked #38 in Europe. Climbing the VRS Global leaderboard should open the door to more invites to bigger events with a LAN component. Participating in LAN events is critical for BC.Game's roster, particularly if they hope to lift a significant trophy in 2026.
