VALORANT Night Market Returns September 22

VALORANT's next Night Market begins on September 22. The discount event for Season V26, Act Five will run for two weeks, concluding on October 6.

According to a guide from Dot Esports, the Night Market offers players random discounts of up to 49 percent on six different weapon or melee skins. The event typically appears once per Act towards its conclusion. Its length has varied historically, but the current two-week format seems to be the standard Riot Games is returning to.

Eligible Skins and Collections

Not every cosmetic in VALORANT can appear in the Night Market. The event is limited to gun and melee skins from the Select, Deluxe, and Premium edition collections, provided they were released at least two Acts prior. Skins from Agent gear, Battle Passes, and melee weapons priced above 3,550 VP are excluded.

Riot Games has made occasional exceptions, such as including the BlastX, Glitchpop, and Singularity Exclusive collections in the Night Market for Season V25, Act Three. The Hi-Dro collection is noted as the newest addition to the eligible pool for the upcoming event.

Some Premium collections contain ineligible high-priced melee skins. While collections like Bolt, Helix, Oni, Ion, Magepunk, Reaver, Sovereign, Valiant Hero, and XERØFANG are eligible, any melee skin within them priced over 4,350 VP will not be offered in the Night Market. The gun skins and cheaper melee options from those sets remain available.

How the Night Market Works

When the Night Market is active, a small black card icon appears beside the VP counter in the game's top-right menu. Clicking it opens a special store page with six face-down cards. Players interact with the cards to reveal their six personalized offers.

The cards are color-coded to indicate the skin tier before being flipped:

Players can usually expect at least two knives or Premium Edition skins in their selection. A maximum of two skins for the same weapon can appear, though this restriction does not apply to skins from the same bundle. The guide notes that players will not receive a skin they already own.

Refunds and Rerolls

There is no way for players to reroll their Night Market offers. The selection is random and final for each event period. The guide states, "Only a few VALORANT players are lucky enough to roll the skins they really want at such amazing discounts."

Skins purchased from the Night Market can be refunded through Riot Support, following the same policy as the regular shop. To be eligible, the skin must not have been used in any match, including the Practice Range. Players must submit a support ticket explaining their reason for the refund. The guide adds that Riot Support may sometimes make exceptions even if the standard criteria are not fully met.

The author of the Dot Esports guide mentions personally hoping for the Sovereign Vandal skin but acknowledges the random nature of the system. The event provides a chance for players to acquire coveted cosmetics at reduced prices, though success depends entirely on luck.
