Motorsport Games generated $36,277 in esports revenue in the second quarter of 2026, the first income the segment has produced since 2023. The money came from facilitating esports events for partners using the company's Le Mans Ultimate title, according to a quarterly report filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company's esports segment recorded a gross loss of $5,862 and carried $101,172 in development expense, resulting in a quarterly operating loss of $115,694. Despite this, Motorsport Games said it will continue to pursue esports partnerships in the second half of 2026.

Esports Revenue

The source of the esports revenue is not clear, with Motorsport Games not connecting the revenue to any specific arrangement. However, the company has disclosed an esports arrangement with Logitech, which chose the multiplayer and subscription platform inside Le Mans Ultimate to power the Logitech G Challenge esports series. The 2026 edition of the competition had a prize pool of more than $35,000 and six daily qualifying windows.

Le Mans Virtual Series

The company has promised to organize the 2026/27 Le Mans Virtual Series, which has not taken place since the 2022/23 season. The series began in 2020 as a one-off 24-hour race and ran as a multi-round championship for the 2021/22 and 2022/23 seasons. The 2022/23 finale had approximately 8.8 million video views, about 27 million minutes watched, and a global audience of 5 million.

The technical issues that plagued the 2023 finale have not been solved, with the company cancelling a scheduled 24-hour driver-swap test race in Le Mans Ultimate due to unacceptable service issues. The game's first in-game 24 Hours of Le Mans special event is scheduled for the week of Oct. 20, which will be a technical proof point for any televised 24-hour esports final.

Financial Performance

The financial gap between the series' peak and the present is wide, with esports revenue reaching $1,179,920 in 2022 and falling to $290,172 in 2023. The segment earned nothing in 2024 or 2025, and the $36,277 booked in the second quarter is about 3% of the 2022 figure.

2023$290,172

The company's standing corporate description still identifies Motorsport Games as an award-winning esports partner of choice for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, creating the renowned Le Mans Virtual Series. However, the company is defending itself from its own shareholders, having adopted a poison pill in July and tightened its shareholder-meeting rules after Red Oak Partners accumulated roughly 11% of the stock.
