Six teams earned direct entry to the BGMS Season 5 Grand Finals based on their Super Weekend performance. iQOO Team Tamilas topped the leaderboard with 460 points. The full list of directly qualified teams is iQOO Team Tamilas, Elite Nova Esports, iQOO SOUL, Nebula Esports, Gladiators Esports, and IRIS MYTH.
Playoffs Feature Major Teams
The remaining 16 teams will compete in the Playoffs from August 31 to September 2. Only the top ten from this stage will advance. Two of the biggest names in this playoff bracket are GodLike Esports and iQOO Orangutan. Both teams joined the BGMS season after competing internationally at the PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC) 2026, where they reached the Grand Finals. They must now finish in the top ten of the domestic playoffs to keep their title hopes alive for the BGMI Masters Series 2026 trophy.
Vasista Esports and Gladiators Esports have been among the most successful in terms of match victories, each recording 11 Winner Winner Chicken Dinners so far in the tournament. On the individual leaderboard, Team Apex Gaming’s Hydro leads the MVP race with 198 eliminations.

The organizer also revealed significant viewership metrics for the season. BGMS Season 5 has surpassed 20 million total views and seven million watch hours. It achieved a peak concurrent viewership of over 220,000 viewers, including watch parties.

The Grand Finals will combine the six directly qualified teams with the top ten from the Playoffs, creating a 16-team final lobby. These teams will compete from September 4 to 6 to decide the champion and the distribution of the prize pool.
